The USRP-LW 1 provides low-cost RF processing capabilities and is designed and developed for entry-level users with software-defined radio development capabilities. The product includes a Altera Cyclone FPGA, a 64MSPS dual ADC, and a 128 MSPS dual DAC to transfer data to the host via USB 2.0. The modular design allows the USRP-LW 1 to operate from DC to 6 GHz. This product allows the input of an external clock and 1 PPS for synchronization between multiple devices. The product can transmit up to 8MHz RF bandwidth back and forth in the host application, allowing users to implement custom signal functions on the FPGA.
The USRP-LW B210 is designed with the RF front-end integrated in the AD9361. The AD9361 supports direct up-conversion of the RF side to provide real-time bandwidth of 56MHz. The two-way signal chain of the AD9361 provides coherent MIMO capability. The host implements processing and control of signals in the AD9361 through a series of operations on the Spartan6 XC6SLX150 FPGA via USB 3.0. The USRP-LW B210 provides up to 61.44MS/s throughput and is connected to the PC using UHD's API to provide real-time bandwidth up to 56M.
